The sales guy I just bought my new bed from was scruffy and unshaven (which can be considered "a look"). He was in a shirt and tie but I cringed when I noticed he was wearing dress shoes with no socks.
I hope this doesn't bring bad energy to my mattress purchase. I'm hoping the new, larger bed brings good karma and new men along with it.
I had a successful sprint triathlon on Sunday in Central Park. Its the second time Patti and I have done this race. You get to hang out by the pool after the race is over.
This time the city lifeguards didn't hit on me. Instead I was approached by a tri guy who said I sped past (and apparently impressed) him on my bike. Nice...he was chasing me down. Note to self: Score one for the Iron Girl bikini race outfit.
He made sure to keep up the chatty banter with me and Patti. He sought me out again by my bike at transition to ask for more info about a race. I knew where all this chattiness was headed.
To a damn date!! Thank god! Its been since spring. The universe has me on the starvation dating diet. It seems I'm only allowed one date per season. A race is the best of circumstances for me to meet someone right now.
Of course, this is all yet TBD....
