My favorite weatherman, Mike Woods, was making weather hits in the hood the other week. When I woke up and turned on the TV, I saw he was a mere few blocks from my house. I got all dressed up (for my date that night - details to come on that) and sauntered to the bagel shop to meet him. Hot! Nice guns! Totally made my morning. He also tweeted this photo of us.
What a sad day. Some of my colleagues at work are too young to even understand that today was the end of two eras, the 70's and the 80's.
Farrah Fawcett and her amazing beauty and her hair. I found a website that started playing the Charlie's Angel theme and the music instantly cheered me after an evening of watching sad news about Michael Jackson (he gets a separate post).
My favorite for best dressed last night was Tina Fey, who looked outstanding in a classy, yet simple dress that looked like a throwback to the 1940's. I could imagine Rita Hayworth wearing it.
I've been watching CBS news show 60 Minutes recently because they have been interviewing a lot of sports stars. The head news anchors are geriatric which does not appeal to me, but the worst is Andy Rooney. He is about 100 years old with yellowing teeth and creepy eyebrows who says nothing relevant about anything. His screen time is a valuable 2-3 minutes which is extremely wasted on an outdated, irrelevant, uninteresting, old man commentating on American life.
